National Law University, Delhi (“University”) invites applications for the position of Academic Fellow on a contractual basis. The University seeks to engage One (01) full-time Academic Fellow at the following Chair on its campus in Dwarka, New Delhi.

With a view to augment departmental representation in ITAT, the Young Professional Scheme envisions engagement of Young Graduates in Law & Accountancy who are rich in domain knowledge. Such resources would aid the departmental officers in preparation of the cases admitted for hearing in addition, they will also take up research/ study work encompassing critical areas of tax litigation for effective litigation management.

Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for engagement of four Law Researchers at present (also for preparation of Panel for future requirement, if any) in the Intellectual Property Division of this Court, purely on contractual basis. The Details are given hereunder.

1. Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel

Salary per Month (In Rs): Rs.70,000/-

Qualification:

1. Practice in Criminal Law for at least 10 years.

2. All India Bar council exam must be cleared

3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

4. Excellent understanding of Criminal Law.

5. Thorough understanding of ethical duties of a Defense counsel.

6. Ability to work effectively and efficiently with Others with capability to lead.

7. Must have handled at least 30 Criminal trials in Sessions Court, aforesaid condition of handling 30 criminal cases can be relaxed in appropriate circumstances.

8. Knowledge of Computer System, preferable.

9. Quality to lead the team with capacity to manage the office.
