Legal Work:

• Advise the Company on legal matters, monitor and ensure legal compliances, brief counsel and organise action to avoid or support litigation as needed. Action to protect the intellectual property of the Company such as Trade Marks, Copy Rights, Designs and Patents are important.
• There are also occasions where action needs to be taken against spurious parts and products.
• A good understanding of Labour Law – as we run three factories with unions – will be useful.
• An opportunity to deal with wide ranging facets of law and compliance including Labour law, Company law, Tax laws, Factories Act, Commercial law, Packaged commodities, domestic contracts, international contracts, dealing with Government regulations are all part of this role.
• Should be ready to brief lawyers and attend hearings at Tribunals, Magistrate Courts, Consumer Forums, District, High and Supreme Courts.
• Company Secretary qualified persons may also apply.

Job location: Our factories in Thane, near Allahabad in UP, Hoshiarpur in Punjab and our offices in Mumbai.
