Internship Program – 2025 (Summer)

UPSIFS, Lucknow invites applications for the Summer Internship Program 2025.

About Us:

Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science (UPSIFS), Lucknow is a newly created educational organization spread over fifty acres of land, which is a flagship project of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The institute was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India in March 2024. UPSIFS is affiliated to the National Forensic Science University, Gandhinagar. The institute has built up world-class laboratory facilities, and gained a stellar reputation in a short span of time. The institute is equipped with worldclass laboratories designed to foster innovation and practical learning. Our academic journey began with the successful completion of the First Batch (2023-24) across five specialized courses.

Why this Internship:

Our internship program is an excellent opportunity for college students to gain industry experience and develop their skills in various areas of technology and law. We believe that students who participate in our program will gain a competitive advantage in the job market and their professional endeavors, as they will have the necessary skills and experience to excel in their careers.

100 interns from outside UPSIFS would be selected for this program.

The division of seats for each discipline would be as under: (i) BSc Forensic Science & MBBS (4th or 6th Sem) -20 (ii) LLB (4th or 6th Sem) -25 (iii) B. Tech Computer Science Engineering & Law (4th or 6th Sem) -30 (iv) MSc Forensic Science (2nd Sem) -10 (v) LLM (2nd Sem) -15

Eligibility:

a. The applicant must be currently enrolled undergraduate or post graduate program, pursuing a degree in Forensic Science, Medicine, Computer Science Engineering and Law from an accredited (officially recognized) Indian institute/university.

b. The undergraduate applicant must have completed the Third semester, and Postgraduate students must have completed the First semester of their respective program.

c. The applicant must have a minimum CGPA of 6.0 or 60% in the most recently completed semester (or earlier semester if the results for the current semester are not yet available at the time of application).

d. The applicant must be available full-time for a period of six weeks during the internship period at UPSIFS campus.

Duration of the Summer Internship

The duration of this Summer Internship is Six weeks. [from 13th May 2025 to 21st June 2025]

Application Process

a. Applications must be submitted only through the portal hosted at UPSIFS website (www.upsifs.ac.in). Application on email or postal services or in-person shall not be entertained.

b. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Submission of applications will not be allowed after the due date [13th April 2025].

c. The application form needs following documents to be attached online.

e. Latest Marksheet of the preceding semester

f. Duly signed Bonafide Certificate issued by the competent authority of the institution last attended.

Timeline
