CBI, STB, Chennai intends to create a panel of advocates for CBI STB Chennai Branch. In this regard, applications are invited from the eligible advocates for engagement as Special Public Prosecutor in CBI to conduct trial of CBI cases in the courts located in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA – The following eligibility criteria may be considered carefully by the applicant while submitting the application for the appointment/engagement of CBI Special Public Prosecutors to conduct trial of CBI cases before the Ld. Courts in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
a) Educational Qualification in Law.
b) Enrollment Certificate as an Advocate with Bar Council.
c) Experience at BAR of handling Criminal Matters in Sessions Court.
d) An unconditional willingness/consent to work on the general terms and conditions approved by the Government of India from time to time.
e) Details of important cases handled by the applicant Advocate.
f) A minimum standing of 10 years as an Advocate with experience in handling criminal matters.
g) Those who prefer for appearance before courts in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana should have knowledge of Telugu.
