Advertisement for engagement of 03 Legal Researchers in the National Green Tribunal, Principal Bench at New Delhi-reg.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the engagement as Legal Researcher on contractual basis in the National Green Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi initially for a period of 3 (three) months which may be further extended depending upon the performance/ requirement or as may be decided by the Competent Authority, as per the following criteria:

Legal Researcher (03 posts)

Eligibility: Bachelor degree in Law with knowledge of:

1. Legal Research

2. Environmental Laws

3. Court Procedures

Knowledge required: Preference would be given to the candidates having post graduate degree in Law/work experience in Legal Research/ Studies

Age limit: Minimum age 18 Years, Maximum of 30 years at the time of engagement

Place of Assignment: National Green Tribunal, Principal Bench, Delhi

Remuneration: To be decided by the Competent Authority New depending upon the Merit, experience and last pay drawn by the candidate.

The terms and conditions for the above engagement:
1. The person engaged shall perform the duties as assigned by the Controlling Officer from time to time.
II. The working hours of the NGT are from 09:30 am to 05:00 pm with lunch break of 30 minutes from 01:30 pm to 02:00 pm with Saturday (except 2nd Saturday) being also the working day.
III. One casual leave shall be given in a month, to be availed with prior permission.
IV. In special circumstances, Legal Researcher can be called for service on holidays or duties can be assigned beyond normal working hours. The Legal Researcher is required to mark the attendance.
V. The period of contractual engagement shall be decided by the Competent Authority, as per the requirement.
VI. National Green Tribunal, Principal Bench shall have the right to examine/review the service rendered by him/her for the purpose of extension of contractual tenure.
VII. He/ She shall perform his/her duties with all necessary skills, diligence, efficiency and economy.
 
Interested eligible persons may submit their bio-data/ CV with the particulars in the enclosed format along with relevant self-attested supporting documents concerning educational qualification/ working experience, etc., in the envelope superscribing “Application for the post of Legal Researcher” on the Right Hand corner of the envelope to
Registrar General, National Green Tribunal, Principal Bench, Faridkot House, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi – 110001
“by hand” on or before 20/03/2026 (5.00 PM) or by Registered Post/ Speed Posts so as to reach this Tribunal on or before 20/03/2026 (5.00 PM).
Applications received after 20/03/2026 (5.00 P.M) will not be entertained.
