The National Commission for Allied and Health Care Professions (NCAHP) proposes to prepare a panel of Officers for engagement as Sr. Consultant (Legal) and Consultant (Legal).
The eligibility for each post is as under:
Sr. Consultant (Legal)
The Essential Qualification/Experience are:
Law Graduate from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks.
Qualified in All India Bar Examination
Minimum 7-year work experience in courts, Ministries/Departments, judicial or quasi-judicial authorities.
Experience in drafting of regulation, framing of policy etc will be preferred.
Professional legal skills in drafting submissions and proficiency in language.
Working knowledge of MS Office, computer handling & internet browsing.

Guidelines for various aspects of day-to-day functioning of the posts are as under:-
Term of Engagement:
4.1 Contract Agreement: NCAHP offers initially a one-year contract (limited within year) which is extendable subject to performance, funding, or need where s/he is hired. The contract can be terminated by NCAHP or a Consultant within 30 days of the notice period or payment in lieu thereof.
4.2 Remuneration: The consultancy remuneration in NCAHP is paid within the band of the position. It is decided mainly on educational qualification, experience and is required to be at parity within the Division. The approved fee bands of NCAHP are tabulated below:
(i) | Senior Consultant | 90,000/- [Lower Limit (INR)]| 1,20,000/- [Higher Limit (INR)]
(ii) | Consultant | 60,000/- [Lower Limit (INR)] | 90,000/- [Higher Limit (INR)]
4.3 Annual increase in remuneration up to the maximum of 05% will be permissible depending upon performance appraisal. If Commission feels based on the performance, additional 02% may be given with the approval of Competent Authority.
