About the Gandhi Fellowship 2025

The Gandhi Fellowship is a two-year, full-time leadership program that selects driven young individuals from top universities across India. It offers a transformative 24-month experience with a four-semester grassroots immersion, where Fellows examine systemic challenges and engage in self-reflection to align personal passions with public impact.

The program provides practical life experience, training, and exposure to develop leadership skills, preparing Fellows to contribute to social and public systems change across various sectors. Fellows work in Aspirational and Tribal districts, collaborating with government and communities to implement transformative programs, tackling real-world issues and gaining confidence.

The Fellowship aims to cultivate a generation of Nation-Builders, equipping Fellows with the skills, purpose, and vision needed to drive meaningful change in India and beyond.

Fellowship Details

• Duration: 2 years (4 semesters) of practical, grassroots immersion.
• Objective: To develop the next generation of leaders who will drive social and public systems change in India.
• Focus Areas: Working in Aspirational and Tribal districts, Fellows will collaborate with government stakeholders and local communities to implement transformative programs.
• Support: On-site coaching and mentoring, a small monthly grant of Rs. 24,500, and exposure to real-world challenges.
