The Department of Economic Affairs (DEA), Ministry of Finance, Government of India, invites applications from eligible and interested candidates for engagement as Young Professionals (YPs) and Consultants on contract basis in various Divisions of the Department.

Young Professional
- Experience (in years): 1 +
- Upper Entry Age: 30 Years
- Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Economics/Finance/IT/Computer Science) or MBA (Finance) or LLM
- Remuneration (in Rs): 70,000 /-
Consultants
- Experience (in years): 3 to 5
- Upper Entry Age: 35 Years
- Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Economics/Finance/IT/Computer Science) or MBA (Finance) or LLM
- Remuneration (in Rs): 1,00,000 /-
Senior Consultant
- Experience (in years): 5 to 9
- Upper Entry Age: 40 Years
- Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Economics/Finance/IT/Computer Science) or MBA (Finance) or LLM
- Remuneration (in Rs): 1,20,000 / –
Special Assignment Consultants
- Experience (in years): 9+
- Upper Entry Age: 45 Years
- Essential Qualification: For specific work for a specific period, with relevant qualification with the approval of Secretary (EA)
- Remuneration (in Rs): 1,50,000 / –
