Online applications are invited in the prescribed format from eligible candidates for empanelment as Legal Services Advocates (LSAs) for Regular Panels in the District Legal Services Authorities (DLSAs).

Empaneled advocates shall provide high-quality legal services in the Courts of Family Panel, DJ Panel, SEM Courts, ADJ Panel, Muslim Law Panel, Civil Panel, Consumer Panel, ASJ Panel, SCJ Panel, JMFC Panel, and Labour Panel.

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Please read following instructions carefully before mailing the application Form:-

A. The Online Application Form is available exclusively on the official website.

B. Applications shall be filled and submitted online only. Physical/Hard copies of applications will not be processed or entertained.

C. A candidate shall submit only one application, clearly specifying one preferred panel and one preferred DLSA. Multiple applications across panels or districts will result in summary rejection.

D. Advocates already empaneled in any other District or State Authority, if selected here, must relinquish one panel within one month from the notification of results.

E. Applicants must double-check all contact numbers, email addresses, and mandatory academic/professional particulars. Incomplete or incorrectly filled forms will be summarily rejected.

F. Online applications shall be accepted from 03.06.2026 until 17.06.2026 (strictly up to 05:00 P.M.). No applications will be accepted thereafter.

SELECTION PROCEDURE: –
1. Application forms will undergo thorough administrative scrutiny. No candidate will be called for an interview unless they strictly satisfy all eligibility conditions.
2. Fulfilling the baseline eligibility criteria does not confer an automatic right to be interviewed or selected. DSLSA reserves the right to short-list candidates based on functional requirements.
3. Shortlisted candidates will be notified of the exact date, time, and venue of the interview via email, SMS, or telephone.
4. Candidates must bring all original professional transcripts, registration certificates, and proofs of practice at the time of the interview.
5. The Interview Board shall systematically evaluate candidates on a dedicated criteria matrix, assessing:
  • Legal knowledge and legal aptitude.
  • Court Experience & Length of Practice. 
  • Commitment & Spirit for Legal Aid Work .
  • Regularity & Availability in the Court Complex.
  • Personality, Communication skills & Amicability.
6. In the event of a tie score between two or more advocates, selection will be determined via the following hierarchy:
  • First Tier: Seniority based on the date of enrollment/registration with the Bar Council.
  • Second Tier: Age seniority (preference given to the candidate elder in age).
  • Third Tier: A formalized draw of lots.
7. The final empanelment results will be displayed publicly on the DSLSA portal.
