CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF ACADEMIC FELLOW UNDER CHAIR ON INVESTMENT TREATY ARBITRATION AT NLU DELHI

National Law University, Delhi (“University”) invites applications for the position of Academic Fellow on a contractual basis. The University seeks to engage One (01) full-time Academic Fellow at the following Chair on its campus in Dwarka, New Delhi.

1. Remuneration & period of appointment on contract

â–ª The selected candidates will receive a consolidated remuneration of INR 50,000 per month (subject to TDS deduction @10% under the Income Tax Act), funded by the respective Chair.

â–ª The appointment will be for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance and the availability of funds under the respective Chair.

2. Application Process:

â–ª Interested candidates must submit their applications exclusively through the online form provided in this advertisement.

â–ª Deadline: Applications must be submitted by January 20, 2026.

â–ª Mode of Submission: Physical or email applications will not be considered.

â–ª Candidates must upload the following documents in serial order (in PDF format in one file) while submitting online application:

a) Resume with complete academic details (percentage of Marks/Grade in (LL.B. and LL.M), including specialization of LL.M., publications authored or co-authored, if any

b) Self-certified copy of undergraduate degree, Statement of Marks, clearly indicating date and year of graduation

c) Self-certified copy of master’s degree, Statement of Marks, clearly indicating date and year of graduation

d) Experience certificate, if applicable

e) Statement of Purpose (750 words)

f) Proposed research (750 words)

g) Any other document relevant to this application not already submitted above

3. Selection Process:
â–ª Candidates will be shortlisted based on an evaluation of their application contents.
â–ª Shortlisting does not guarantee an interview or final selection.
â–ª Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview, the details of which will be communicated separately.
 
4. Work Expectations other important guidelines:
â–ª The Academic Fellow will work under the supervision of the Chair Professor or as decided by the University.
â–ª The selected candidate must be physically present at the University on all working days from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
â–ª The University reserves the right not to fill the advertised positions if suitable candidates are not found.
â–ª The eligibility criteria listed here do not guarantee an interview or a final offer.
