FELLOWSHIPS FOR UG & PG STUDENTS, & GRADUATES

 

1. Mukherjee Fellowship 2026

The Fellowship intends to empower passionate students and exceptional professionals with the necessary skill set to succeed in policy making and political strategy consulting. After completing a customized training program, Fellows will be assigned to work at the offices of leading policymakers, public leaders, and administrators, providing them with valuable insights into policymaking and politics.

Stipend: For the period of the Fellowship including the training module, Fellows will receive a stipend of ₹ 50,000 per month.

 
 

2. Antara Foundation (TAF) Fellowship

The fellowship at TAF is a grassroots experiential learning program designed for budding entrepreneurs or those looking for career enhancement, higher education, refining professional skills and competencies or just exploring the public health or development landscape. The fellowship provides an invaluable experience of working in the field and closely interacting with the community and government officials.

Duration: 12 months ( potential to become program officer earlier)

Fellowship Stipend: 7 Lakhs per annum (Rs. 60,000 of this amount is paid on completion of fellowship)

3. CPL Fellowship Programme 2026

From our academic learnings, research and professional experience we have come across frameworks and skill sets that should be a part of the armoury of our future public leaders. These include multi-party negotiation skills, design thinking, advocacy/campaign skills, evidence based decision-making frameworks, adaptive leadership, effective social media communication, public speaking and persuasive writing skills. The CPL Fellowship will have a two-pronged approach and will focus on imparting these skills as well as a conceptual understanding of various policy issues. This will be done through interactive lectures with policy practitioners, eminent professors, scholars, as well as leaders in the field of politics, media, law and social sector.

 
 
 

4. The Public Policy Fellowship by Institute For Youth In Policy

An intensive two-month program for young leaders to collaborate, develop, and propose innovative cross-sector solutions for social, political, economic, and environmental issues, while also honing their skills in project management, policy analysis, teamwork, communication, and more.

Who is eligible: The fellowship program is open to all high school and undergraduate students ages 13-25 with interest or experience in social impact, community organizing, civic engagement, design thinking, advocacy, and, of course, discourse! The fellowship is open to international applicants, but meetings are scheduled based on U.S. time zones and the workshops largely focus on U.S.-oriented public policy and political systems. The fellowship is designed to accomodate students in Eastern, Central, and Pacific time zones.

5. MLA Fellowship Programme 2026

The JK Centre for Peace and Justice (JKCPJ) Foundation is inviting applications for the MLA Fellowship Programme 2026.

6. The Policy in Action Program

The Policy in Action Program is a month long engagement for young professionals and university students who are keen to explore the fields of public policy and development. The program is designed to deliver core skills in policy analysis, advocacy and leadership, along with the experience of working on live projects for policymakers – MPs, MLAs, ministries and other government institutions.
 
 
 
7. Rural Youth Fellowship by Seekho Sikhao Foundation
We aim to transform learning outcomes at government schools by partnering with teachers, leaders and committed individuals to bring sustainable changes inside and outside schools. ​
 
 
 
8. Chief Minister’s Fellowship Scheme (CMFS)
IM Bodh Gaya, in collaboration with the Government of Bihar, invites applications for the Chief Minister’s Fellowship Scheme (CMFS).
A two-year fellowship offering hands-on experience in public policy, governance, and development at the state level.
What the Fellowship Offers:
– Work closely with senior government officials
– Engage in policy formulation, programme implementation & governance reforms
– Structured management education under IIM Bodh Gaya faculty
– Highly competitive monthly honorarium of up to ₹1.5 lakh (based on experience & posting)
 
 
9. Gandhi Fellowship Program
Initiated in 2008, the Gandhi Fellowship Program is an opportunity for the nation’s promising youth to solve the country’s most pressing problems in various sectors by working closely with the administration and government officials. It is a 23 months full-time residential, leadership development program that helps young people connect to the grassroots, understand issues first-hand, and implement innovative solutions to cause change in self, system and society. Gandhi Fellowship Program is designed in a way that helps fellows to practise a cyclic process of- ‘Plan- Act- Reflect’. The program follows an extensive curriculum focused towards developing soft skills necessary for sustenance in the 21st century.
 
 
10. The Banyan Impact Fellowship (BIF)

The Banyan Impact Fellowship (BIF), formerly known as the William J. Clinton Fellowship, is an immersive bi-national volunteer service program with immense strategic importance in the US-India corridor. Through its emphasis on a service-leadership model, BIF places young professionals from the US and India with communities and organizations across the two countries for mutual learning, capacity building, and leadership development–all towards the greater aim of driving social change.

Fellows work on projects closely linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and drive impact through service and fieldwork across diverse thematic areas, such as education, public health, livelihoods, social inclusion, climate change mitigation, LGBTQ+ rights, gender, arts, sports, CSR, and many others.
