RECRUITMENT OF 266 ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS (GENERALISTS & SPECIALISTS) (SCALE I)

National Insurance Company Ltd. invites applications for recruitment of 266 (Two Hundred and Sixty-Six) Officers in Scale I cadre from open market.

 A) Specialist:

  • Doctors (MBBS) – 10
  • Legal – 20
  • Finance – 20
  • Information Technology – 20
  • Automobile Engineers – 20
  • Specialist Backlog: Doctors (MBBS) – 4
  • Finance – 1
  • Automobile Engineers – 1

B) Generalist

  • Generalist – 170

Emoluments & Benefits

The starting Basic pay would be Rs. 50,925 /- in the scale of Rs.50925-2500(14)-85925-2710(4)-96765 and such other allowances as may be admissible under the rules in force from time to time in the company. Total emoluments will be approximately Rs. 90,000/- per month in Metropolitan Centres.

Other benefits such as Pension under New Pension scheme governed by PFRDA, Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance etc shall be as per rules in force in the Company at the time of appointment. The Officers are also entitled for Company’s / leased accommodation as per norms.

Selection Procedure
Part A – Online Examination
Phase – I: Preliminary Examination online
Phase – II: Main Examination online
 
PART B – Interview
 
 
FINAL SELECTION:
The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the online Main Examination (Objective test) and Interview. The weightage (ratio) of online Main Examination and Interview will be 80:20 respectively. Candidates will have to secure minimum qualifying marks in the interview which will be decided by the Company in due course. Scores of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying scores or otherwise barred from the interview or further process may not be disclosed. The final merit list shall be prepared in descending order of the consolidated marks secured by the candidates. A candidate should be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent recruitment process, details of which will be made available subsequently on Company’s website.
