The Young Professionals Programme for Legal Empowerment (YPPLE) is anchored by CSJ and designed to equip young legal professionals to become powerful change agents.
Young change makers often desire a better understanding of how legal empowerment can contribute to social change. Through an intimate engagement with field realities, the YPPLE provides a holistic understanding of the process of change-making through the law.
YPPLE is now entering its tenth year. In the last nine years, CSJ has placed around 40 young aspiring researchers in its field areas, where they engaged with grassroots realities.
In the process they grow immensely both professionally and personally, learning about different cultures, teamwork, laws and love.
