1. Maple Bridge Research Fellowship
The Maple Bridge Research Fellowship is its research engine where young people stop reading about public policy and start writing about it. Over four months, 25 fellows (20 in India, 5 in Canada) work in small teams across five AI-linked themes, each co-authoring one publication-grade policy brief.
The five research themes are:
AI & Trade Architecture
AI, Inclusive Growth & Digital Economy
AI, Energy & the Clean Economy
AI Governance & Civic Literacy
AI, Talent & the Student Corridor
This completely virtual fellowship begins in the first week of October 2026 and runs until the end of January 2027.
It is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students in India and Canada, with no restriction by discipline.
Selected fellows will receive research methodology and writing training, thematic mentorship, research exposure, a fellowship certificate, and the opportunity to have their team’s policy brief published as a co-branded programme output. Indian fellows will also join The Maple Bridge Summit in Delhi in February 2027 to showcase their work.
There is no fee to apply or participate.
